Boot-bag for Elise, S1,S2 S3,S,SC & VX220, Vintage, Supercar £84.95

Cant find a luggage or boot rack for your Lotus Elise ? A boot-bag adds 50 litres of waterproof luggage capacity to your Elise. The kit also fits Supercars or vintage cars.

Customers have also purchased boot-bag's with the Elise kit for other cars. A Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder owner took his boot-bag to from Norfolk to Monaco in 2010 with no issues.

The strap system for the Elise,VX200,Vintage and Supercars is unique and does carry a premium of £5 over the standard boot-bag. It consists of a long looped strap for the engine bay and 4x1m long straps with powder coated hooks, so NO damage to paintwork. The webbing also stays stationary once pulled tight. no damage to paintwork.

How it works

First the U shaped strap is placed in the engine bay, pull the two long straps though, the strap is secured by the hinges, then up above the engine cover. So no damage to the thin fibreglass engine cover. (one hinge on the S1,two on the S2 and beyond) These straps attach to the front of the bag, the 4 other straps are then secured to the wheel arches and fixing points near the exhaust. ( more below

The soft anti slip mat is then placed on the rear of your Elise.

Place the bag on the car and attach the last 4 straps. These hook on by the exhaust on the bodywork, the two side straps hook onto the wheel arches.  The hooks are steel and are powder coated, again to protect your paintwork. The last two hook onto various points on the back of your Elise. S1,S2 and S3 hook by the exhaust.

The webbing that holds the bag on is 25mm wide and very strong, and remember we have been making boot-bags since 2006, so we know the system works.

The bag uses ladder lock fixings like you find on rucksacks etc once the straps are tight, the boot-bag is going no-where. Like any other boot-bag when you arrive simply hook the shoulder strap on and carry the bag away.
