The bag is supplied with three straps, these are laid out across the trunk when its full and take the shortest route under the boot lid the 6 ends of the straps attach to 6 ladder-lock fixings on the Boot-bag these are like those found on a rucksack once tight they won't loosen.The straps won't move once tight so no chance of any damage to the edge of the trunk lid.
