I bought a rack for my MGF which we drove to the Alps last week. It took a 20kg on the back of the car (very comfortably).

Very strong and looks nice.

Rack fits perfectly on the smaller size. I was a bit nervous about the first time running it, so I put a racket strap around the whole thing and the lid.

Just did a Chicagoland to NC trip using my boot-bag for the first time. Took a little to figure out the best way to set it up, but love it, like having a tank bag on your trunk. Drove through heavy, heavy storms and it kept everything dry. Also did 80+ mph on highways and ripped around twisty roads like the Diamondback with no issues. Rear window visibility is pretty useless, but I just use my side mirrors like on a motorcycle, plus the ND has BSM. I Highly recommend if looking for a way to expand your luggage capacity.

I want to say thanks for the product that you produce.. I am very satisfied with the boot bag vacation for my ND miata.

I drove for around 850 miles / 1400 km from Georgia to Texas. I was driving around 80 mph or 120 kmh constantly for hours and the boot bag held up very well. Also there was maybe around 1 hour of heavy rain, everything inside is still dry.

I love the strapping system, it is very ingenious solution and engineering. I am sure it wasn’t an easy task to design and test. Bravo!

As Morgans have limited luggage space inside we wanted a waterproof bag to strap to the external rack. The Boot-bag is ideal.

My new BMW i8 Roadster was a compromise for style over practicality. The Revo-Rack has helped me carry an extra bag now and then, meaning I get to enjoy my car for more journeys, even if I have a bit more luggage. It’s well made and secure, I feel like I can trust it and looks ok on the back with the suction cups. Happy!

I just used the Revo-rack for the first time a couple weeks ago on a trip to Michigan. It performed exactly as described. We can now take our Saturn Sky on extended vacations. Very happy!

The boot-bag allows us to use our Miata for longer vacations. Great design with straps that simply wrap around the trunk lid and boot-bag. No worries about paint scratches.

We ordered a Revo Rack for our ND Miata and couldn’t be happier! Not only is it a fantastic rack, the folks at Boot-bag were incredibly helpful at every step, from order to delivery to installation.

Ordering to the USA is still a pain with US import duties at an all-time high. In spite of the tariffs, it was completely worth it. Thank you, boot-bag!

So I Thought the revo-rack and boot bag were a tad expensive upon purchase , but went ahead anyway for my F Type. First time using it yesterday , easy to fit and seemed well secured.

We drove down to Plymouth from York , and it’s fair to say the rain was biblical, at one point we thought we saw animals walking in pairs to a big wooden boat.

Anyhow

After that despite the bag claiming to be waterproof, I was expecting clothes to be wet.

Just got home from a 2 week holiday driving around France with our newborn; it had been booked long in advance as we were going down to Bergerac for our friend’s wedding. We stayed in 7 accommodations along the way.

Our newborn is now 10 weeks old and we’re trying to stave off the seemingly inevitable purchase of a new car. Couldn’t have made this trip without your product, thanks!

The boot bag performed very well on the first two-week trip.

This thing is awesome. Surprisingly reliable. We bought it for our first road trip in our TT in Sardinia and this thing just doesn’t move. Considering that we stayed 2 weeks in Sardinia and that the roads aren’t the smoothest, really positively surprised.

The best part is you can just remove it whenever you want and it’s just so easy to put it back on. The key is just keeping those suction pads a little humid before installing it, and honestly the Revo-Rack will stay put for hours.

I don’t regret buying the Revo-Rack one second. Highly recommend to any convertible roadster owner who wants a little more luggage capacity without modifying or damaging your car.

I bought the 75L Boot-bag and am extremely satisfied. We drove about 1300km with it and had absolutely no problems. We usually had two sleeping bags, a tent, and two camping chairs in the bootbag, which saved us a huge amount of space in the trunk. I found it all very practical. When I bought it, I didn’t even know it came with a carrying strap. That was really great! You can simply carry the bag over your shoulder and stow it safely.

The boot-bag was super easy to attach and hardly slipped at all during the entire trip. We once had the problem that the strap that runs across the trunk slipped backward and then wasn’t taut anymore. That could possibly be improved. But the bag still holds well and stays in place.

I was worried that the straps might damage the paint, especially where they thread around the trunk lid. In the end, nothing happened, but perhaps it would help if the straps were rubberized on the underside. That would also prevent them from sliding backward while driving.

But that’s all criticism at the highest level! I’m still absolutely convinced by the product.

Brilliant addition to the R129 boot space. Travelled around France and rarely had to re-pump vacuum cups. Advantage in Mercedes R129 that can visually check while on the move and with hood down. Can’t see any speed indication in instructions or on website but happily cruised at autoroute limits without any problems. Highly recommended!

Purchased the 75l boot bag on a whim ,before going on a long trip with 4 dogs and 3 people in the car . Boot space limited ,( Jaguar ) hence the idea . Very successful trip ,plenty of rain but everything in the boot bag stayed quite dry . I adapted to the limited rear mirror view quickly as side mirrors set correctly covered the rear view very well. The car is a saloon ,but it avoided the purchase of a roof rack and the bag just lifts off at destination . Well chuffed.

Boot bag fitted to my MX5 ND RF Installed in three minutes… the 75L is perfect and very spacious.

At 130 km/h, it doesn’t move and offers very little resistance to speed.

The assembly and positioning of the unit on the car is very easy. The only drawback is the proximity of the fuel cap for filling the tank. 4/5

A little apprehension at the beginning about the reliability of the vacuum cups, which dissipated after my 600 km journey with a bag of around 15 kg on the luggage rack, without any problem, I recommend!

Received very quickly, well packaged and quickly installed on my Ford Street KA: I find it aesthetically pleasing and practical, very happy.

The boot bag is a great way of being able to take additional luggage in my MX5 without having to have a fixed boot rack. Relatively easy to fit, instructions didn’t mention that you have to put the additional connector on in order to put the vertical straps through. Once I figured that out it was straightforward to ensure it was secure and it didn’t move on my long journeys. Would recommend this to anyone with a sports car.

Was initially unsure if this boot bag would work as never seen anything like it before.

Managed to get so much into the bag, fitting on the boot was really simple and quick, with no issues driving on motorway, stayed really tightly strapped down.

When we arrived it at our destination, it came off in seconds and packed away into a small bundle.

I seriously would highly recommend it to anyone.

We bought the Revo-Rack for our Shelby Series 1. Fits great, worked perfectly for our 3 day weekend car show.

As the proud owner of our gorgeous recently acquired MX5 we wanted to do an epic tour of Scotland involving camping and the occasional hotel to keep costs down. There’s no way we could have taken all the kit required in an MX5 boot, so the boot bag was the perfect solution. In all we did 2314 miles with the 75 litre Boot Bag Vacation model. The boot bag comes with a protective matting to protect the paintwork but I purchased another sheet of it from Amazon for under a tenner so was able to use a double layer of the protective matting under the bag. After two weeks and over two thousand miles on motorways, A and B roads at all manner of speeds the paintwork is totally unmarked, the bag never moved and we are simply delighted with this product! While recommending products I should also give a shout out to the One Tigris Tigerblade high backed folding chairs we used too which are both supremely comfortable and sturdy but light and super compact. They’re the brown things you can see strapped to our boot bag in the pics.

We did an epic tour of the Western highlands and islands for a week before starting the NC500. While up there we realised that we were one of the few people able to do this drive in a proper sports car, most people were using camper vans which are simply nowehere near as much fun. While they were plodding around in their minibuses we were driving around with the wind in our hair and the sun on our backs – it was glorious! So the Boot bag really does open up the possibility of camping and touring in a small convertible and that in my view is its greatest achievement. Epic adventures suddenly become possible in a true drivers car and we can’t wait to plan yet more fabulous driving tours across the UK and Europe – if only work didn’t get in the way! We are off to Shropshire for a week next though…

Just one final word on Scotland. As a keen driver you will have heard all about the roads and scenery there, but quite honestly it far surpassed our expectations. Where the lake District is gorgeous but small and crowded, Scotland is a vast expanse of epic wilderness – a perfect alignment of wind, water, earth and sky stretching for hundreds of miles. The road surfaces too are far better than I had been led to believe with none of the proliferation of potholes we suffer down south – in fact hugely better than the roads around me in Sussex. If you’ve never done Scotland you owe it to yourself to get there – it’s got simply the best driving roads I have ever encountered anywhere…

Had a brilliant time doing the north coast 500 with the ND Revo rack. Managed to fit all the camping gear and chairs into the rack. Was anxious during the first stretch but needn’t have been, the rack held strong throughout the whole journey. Look forward to many more trips

Back from an amazing road trip to Norway I just wanted to give some feedback.

The bag itself was as perfect as ever so no worries there. But, I had a minor issue with the break light. As you can’t always guarantee a dead flat surface for the light to sit on the light didn’t always have 100 percent contact with the velcro. This was a minor issue most of the time.

More important was the result of the heat in Europe which reached over 33C and resulted in the glue on the velcro tape ‘melting’ and eventually the light came away and was hanging on by just the cable. As we were on a German autobahn at the time we couldn’t stop but, the light hung on and I was able to trap it under the straps for the rest of the journey when we had a chance to stop.

Please understand, this is just feedback and not a complaint but you might want to come up with a more secure attachment in future.

All that aside, we had a great time and all is well.

Does everything claimed and more! First used on camping trip to Le Mans Classic, bag solid despite swift blast down the Autoroutes (not exceeding speed limits, of course) and sporadic and sometimes heavy rain. In addition, having kept my clothes in the bag for duration of stay, they were saved from soaking when tent flooded due to operator error.

Can’t recommend product and company highly enough.

Quality bag, good capacity. Takes a little time to set up but doesn’t move. Missing an internal pocket and especially side handles to carry it. The strap is not practical. Very good sales service from Liza, responsive and efficient.

Very cool luggage rack with matching boot bag!

Not cheap, but good and does what it promises to carry extra luggage. It holds up even at high speeds.

After purchasing the bag, I also decided to buy the luggage rack for my 2018 Fiat 124 Spider, and after a 1,500-km road trip in the heat of southern France, I had no problems. I recommend these items.

The vacuum cups didn’t budge for 2 x 800 km! I followed the instructions and guidelines (check every 200 km).

With the case as shown in the photo, if the top is up, avoid driving above 110 km/h because of the high pressure on the top.

The Revo-Rack has not been used yet, but it seems to be very stable.

Boot bag did not move about and is a great option to a luggage rack

I ordered the bag for a two week trip around Southern Ireland, the bag performed well and we could fit lots of clothes etc. into it. Very secure on the boot, we we’re lucky that we had no rain on the trip but the bag feels very good quality and I’m sure would hold up against any rain showers. I’d highly recommend.

This is a great idea with some pros and cons.

Pros : It is a good concept and it allows luggage to be carried in a waterproof bag on the boot of your sports car .

Cons: The bag is unstructured so is difficult to pack . It could have flexible slats to go on bottom of bag which would give it some shape and help your packing. The loose strapping on the top could be part of the bag rather than loose strapping. Could have some colour options.

Kudos for a well designed luggage rack that is a snap to install and remove. I’m very confident in the suction cup component that is wizardry in its simplicity to adhere to trunk lid with no harm to the cars beauty. I love it

Very easy to order and pay for, delivered carefully within 3 days or purchase.

The assembly was pretty straightforward, it took me about 20mins to assemble and then another 20mins to fit, it did then remove and refit just to see how quickly it could be removed.

I did need to adjust a bit to make sure I could lower my roof but that was still quite straightforward.

Good value for money too.

Bought this rack for my BMW 420D, used it to travel over 1200 Km’s without any issues. Two of the days we were in a torrential downpour and had to slow down on the freeway but the rack worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

Just completed 1500 miles with rack full of cases. Very impressed particularly as driving rain for most of the journey.

I order a rack for an mx-5 ND With the anti theft strap and i didn’t get the last one ?!? . Leaving for a 10,000 + km trip the 5 juin 🙁

It only took us a few minutes to fit the Boot-Bag for the first time on the morning of departure. We checked it after a few miles , as per the instructions. All was good. During stops on our travels , we put the bag in to the car and it only took a couple of minutes to put it back.As we were lucky with the weather , we have not tested the water resistance ! So far so good , we cannot fault it.

Came quickly with no issues. Fits perfectly and looks great. Even comes with tips for fitting to prevent scratching which was useful.

This revo rack is expensive but worth it if you own an F type jaguar it is superb and was completely stable at speeds of 120/130 mph many thanks

We had the opportunity to try out the boot bag on a longer trip (for a TR4A. It was cold and rainy. Our clothes and the other interior items arrived perfectly dry and the bag stayed put on the included pad. Once you have put it on once it is easy and only takes a few minutes. Our only complaint (minor) is the “harness” which goes across the top of the bag had clips that had to be threaded with the strap coming out underneath making it harder to manage. About 1/2 threaded on top and the other half were underneath. Best of all you do not have to install a luggage rack if you do not want to.

This is the second boot bag I have purchased having foolishly given away the previous one when I sold my convertible.

It is easy to use, with plenty of space for clothes and other items, and fits securely on to the boot, and waterproof.

A really good piece of equipment.

Simple and yet so very effective (not to mention extremely good value). Easy to install single-handed in minutes with extremely clear instructions. The bag itself is lightweight whilst also being very robust, spacious and waterproof. This has to be one of the single best ‘gadget’/accessory buys I have ever made and I would say is a must have for any convertible owner. Drove across the country and it didn’t budge an inch. I congratulate you on your creativity and quality!

I was initially disappointed with the fit but when I contacted Antony he said I could return it no problem.

The issue I had was that the web site shows the boot rack attached to a BMW F23 2 series convertible but it doesnt say that you cant bring the the roof up or down when the rack is in place due to the position of the fixings putting the rack in the way of the opening cycle. However, using my engineering background I was able to refit one of the cross bars with the fixings attached to a position that would enable opening and closing of the roof whilst the luggage was still in place.

I had to do this as this is the only suitable rack on the market that I could find!

It adjusts to fit the correct width and clamps around the edge of the boot lid. Anything that comes into contact with the paint work is coated in a protective material that works well

I have just completed a tour of Scotland without any issues, so, all in all I’m very happy with my new rack and the communication I had with Antony

My Mazda MX5 can only hold 2 carry-on size suit cases and I needed some extra room for a recent trip we took through the Kentucky bourbon trail. I was very impressed with the service when ordering and the quick delivery. Instructions were very thorough and mounting it was a breeze. I was very impressed with the quality and highly recommend it. With our purchasing on the bourbon trail, we needed the extra space and it worked out great. I was able to fit one of our carry-ons inside the bag for extra protection.

I’ve done 2400km with the boot bag on my Mini Cooper without any problems. I’ve been driving in heavy rain and it’s interior remained dry, it’s stable at highway speeds and takes some time to install it the first times but it gets easier with practice. Beware when parking in public areas as it might be easy to steal from it.

After placing the order we received the bag very quickly with messages to keep us informed of its delivery. Perfect. The bag is very well made and looks durable. Instructions are clear. After a weekend use it stayed in place on the car and was just what we needed. It didn’t rain so I can’t comment on that yet. But it is an excellent product.

The bag I bought for my mx5 is brilliant. It’s very spacious, and fits very securely on the top of the boot, so I’ve not worried about it at all whilst driving. The only downside on an mx5 is that it blocks your view through the rear mirror, but it’;s not a problem using the wingmirrors. I’ve not tested it yet in pouring rain, but it feels sturdy and waterproof, so I am confident it will keep my stuff dry.

Just back from a glorious trip driving around the west coast of Scotland. I’m glad to report that my ‘adjustments’ have been a success so I thought I’d send some pics.

I used the original holes to add another bar for additional support. I was initially concerned that the unfixed part was too big and would allow a lot of leverage but the whole thing is absolutely solid and once strapped up there’s no movement with the luggage whatsoever.

The boot lid’s bloody heavy though!

All this to accommodate a small dog and his baggage!

My grandfather asked me to send you his feedback regarding the luggage carrier for his Mercedes Cabriolet.

The Cabriolet was his dream car – and he bought it with the words, “This will be my last car.” In the meantime, my grandmother has fallen seriously ill, and she now needs a wheelchair. It has not been possible to go on vacation with both the car and the wheelchair, as the trunk is too small for both. However, this is now possible. We all contributed to the cost of the luggage carrier so that they can plan their upcoming trip to the sea.

The R8 spyder has a small boot. I love the car but was limited for going away with it due to luggage space. The boot-bag has sorted that problem and we can now use it for holidays

Vacuum packed the clothes as an additional waterproof layer… didn’t need to.

Strongly recommend it if you want to travel with the roof down.

New York to Idaho, then onto Wyoming North and South Dakota.

6500 miles the Revo-Rack stayed planted and never budged, I checked it everytime I got gas, but I never needed a re-pump.

I purchased a bag for a Corvette caravan this coming summer and I did a trial run this weekend to Maine and it worked perfectly.

It allows me to open the trunk lid when needed and allows the power top to function correctly while installed. I figured I would add a couple of pictures.

Having loaded all our worldly possessions into a 40′ container, we set off on our 3 week drive to Malta from Wolverhampton in the UK. A new job in the sunshine beckoned.

A boot-bag firmly strapped onto our rather small car, we covered many kilometres in style and comfort. Having the boot bag meant we could take luxuries (nice clothes for going out in and books) as well as essentials (walking shoes and gin). It was so easy to use – we quickly became experts at attaching and detaching, and it was perfect for the one night stopovers.

It felt very secure and didn’t affect the car’s performance.

The non slip mat was excellent and protected the paintwork perfectly. We can’t vouch for waterproofness as it didn’t really rain at all!

I would thoroughly recommend one of these.

We were currently at a mountain hut and had a temporary heavy rain/snowstorm for around 3 hours. I attached the luggage rack and backpack from the car to the trunk for the return trip to the valley…

It remains exciting for us with our car, the luggage rack and backpack/boot bag and our adventures while on the move.

In terms of feedback on using the ski rack in general, it works well, with the following caveats:

1. It’s only possible to fit 2 pairs of skis with bindings in it, as the metal beam prevents the bindings from sliding in on the left-most slot

2. Best to put ski sticks in the car, or use a bungee to hold them in place on the rack

3. You have to take the skis off the car before opening the boot – it’s too heavy otherwise!

We LOVE our BMW convertible, however, with the limited trunk space we needed a solution that was dependable and safe. This rack is the best one on the market, and it took us going over seas to find it! I will refer everyone that asks about it to Boot-Bag as I am highly impressed with the revo-racks durability and quality!

We took a 500 mile Thanksgiving trip across Texas in about 40F/4.5C and each time we stopped to pump the suction cups only one time did it feel like it needed only a little pumping. Looking forward to our next trip!

I used this to carry my golf clubs on a 3 hour trip. Held up exceptionally well, I was a little worried at first so I would stop and check to make sure it was holding up. Well it did, on the return trip I didn’t even bother to check it out. I have complete confidence in this product to hold up in any condition and environment.

Its on boot, boot opens wife said that looks good.

Below is my experience report about using the boot bag on my BMW Z3.

You are welcome to use this review on your website under “Customer Feedback”.

I bought the boot bag in the 50 liter version for a three-week tour with the Z3 in Sardinia.

After a distance of around 3,700 km and stops in 10 hotels (with the respective assembly and dismantling of the bag) my verdict is absolutely positive. Fastening it quickly became a routine and involved putting the bag on. A little closer to the rear window I managed to avoid the third brake light mounted in the trunk hood

was covered.

The combination of the anti-slip mat and the fastening straps ensures that the bag stays in place even at slightly higher speeds

does not slip and the trunk lid can still be opened easily.

Before the start of the trip, I cleaned the trunk lid intensively and gave it a hard wax paint protection. I also rinsed them with a little water, wiped them with a towel, etc. before each new attachment of the bag ensured that damage to the paint caused by dirt and dust was avoided.

I can recommend the boot bag without reservation.

Please see attached images of the luggage rack and ski carrier on my car. The only difficulty was the nuts and bolts for the carrier, the threads were very tight to screw, you couldn’t tighten it with fingers first – you had to use a wrench and hold the screw with pliers from the start which was a little aggravating. Having a ratcheting wrench is highly recommended.

Otherwise I am happy with the product and the results.

Great piece of kit.Threw it into the cabin when we went walking.

Vacuum packed the clothes as an additional waterproof layer… didn’t need to.

Strongly recommend it if you want to travel with the roof down.

Bought a Revo-Rack for first ever camping trip around Scotland with our MX5.

Really happy with how it performed, it was superb. Performed exactly as advertised and shown on the YouTube videos I watched before buying it. Rack took a 100L Berghaus expedition bag really well – strapped on using 6 Rugtol adjustable bungees. I used anti-theft cables anchored to the boot lid hinges lets say for “peace of mind” but the vacuum cups are really awesome, they never faltered.

Can’t recommend highly enough.

Just wanted to send you a picture of my recently purchased Boot Bag securely attached to the boot of my Cobra.

I have no hood nor tonneau, so normally carry a complete Car Cover in the boot, which takes up sooooo much space and this year I was going to Le Mans Classic with my new lady, rather than with my son as I had in previous years, so room for more than two pairs of undies was required!

The Car Cover went in the Boot Bag as did a rug, a sheet, two towels and a tea towel. Freed up enough space in the boot to cope with 6 days’ wardrobe! Genius.

No marks on the boot or damage or anything, really pleased. Straps do cover the number plate in my case, but hey! My interior mirror sits on top of the dash so I lost all vision out of that which made life a little tricky. Should have bought a stick-on one to place at the top of the screen, which I think might have solved that – might be worth mentioning that on your site somewhere?

But the bag never moved at all and everything inside stayed dry as bone.

Our new boot-bag in action on holiday in Pembrokeshire. We had it flat enough to be able to use the roof on our Mazda MX5 Niseko without having to adjust it.

Boot-Bag received safely. Attached are photos of the trial run, the this weekend all set for 200 mile run across Welsh hills to our happy place in Pembrokeshire.

The bag gave us enough extra space to come on holiday without bringing one of my other cars with the luggage as i normally have to !

It works really well without the damage risk of a boot rack ( and a lot cheaper! )

The other surprise was even with bag in place & boot full as well I still got 48 mpg! I thought it would add some drag and bring it down a bit but obviously not .

I needed to purchase a bike carrier that would fit a Skoda Fabia and a Ford Focus. I visited Halfords, taking both cars, and spoke to three separate “advisors” each of whom gave conflicting information. But the outcome was that in their opinion, it couldn’t be done. I was less than impressed with the service. Luckily, I found boot-bag

I contacted Liza and explained the situation I was in, and she was of immediate help. She recommended the Bones 2 bike rack. Liza checked with Antony and from memory, he was able to confirm that Liza was correct. That the bike rack would fit both cars. The bike rack was ordered, came when it was expected and fitted like a dream. Both my daughter and I can now take my 9-year-old grandson riding on his bike.

Some say that it is 180 degrees out ,but I dont wish for the luggage to fall off as opposed to going forwards,I have four head restraints to say otherwise lol.

Also ,this is a very tight fit when the hood is moving up or down so here it stays.

Fitted the Revo-Rack no problems

It is with pleasure to communicate my complete satisfaction for the product.

I just arrived from a trip to Barcelona and back (almost 1800 km) and the rack exceeded any expectations.

The finishing and details are very accurate and the rack did not damage the car at all.

I received my boot bag within a few days of ordering it but did not take it on a trip until a month later. It was perfect! A friend (another female) and I took a road trip in my new Miata and we both packed for 6 days. The Boot Bag was a lifesaver! We tried to slim down our choice of toiletries and clothing but with two women it was a hard task! The Boot Bag gave us plenty of room and didn’t budge in the winds and the 75 mph speed limit. It was even rained on and kept everything inside dry. If I ever take a longer road trip I may have to buy the larger size!

It was a breeze – only dodgy bit is learning to tie (and do knots properly!) the straps securely in place…. Caused a bit of a domestic!!

The Revo Rack fits my CLK320 like it was a factory option.

It goes on easily, remains firmly attached, and is easily removed. It looks great, even when there is no luggage on it.

Basically, it doubles the amount of luggage and accessories with which I can now travel.

I only wish I had found it earlier. But it has turned my day trip convertible into a road trip wonder!

Not only has the boot-bag covered a good deal of France it also went to the Isle of Skye last year – it rained all the way home (Portree to Nottingham in one day). Despite the weather, the bag even after a few years of solid use, remained as watertight as it was on the day we bought it. I have recommended it to others and can’t fault it.

I recently snapped a buckle (entirely as result of me being over- enthusiastic on the tightening front) and having been unable to find a perfect replacement match on Amazon I contacted the Boot Bag Group asking where I might source one from.

I was nervous about the vacuum cups at high speed… the Revo-Rack is very secure and hasn’t damaged my boot lid at all. I can even lower the roof on my G29 Z4 with the luggage rack loaded.

We bought the larger size, we pack our tent in it as it’s the first thing you need when arriving at a campsite. First time out with the new arrangement, we drove through one of the worst rain storms of this year. The car leaked – we got wet; the car boot leaked – some of the clothes got wet; but the boot-bag performed excellently – the tent was bone dry. Perhaps there’s a lesson there.

Anyway, as I put earlier, it’s our buy of the year.

I thought you may like some feedback on my experience with the Revo Boot Rack fitted to an Australian 2013 MX5 NC. We recently travelled over 3000km through NSW, Victoria and Tasmania using a 170L duffle bag attached to the Revo Boot Rack. The bag was used for our heavy clothing.

I am pleased to say the rack performed as promised! It attached like a barnacle, with NO movement even though we travelled on some very windy and rough roads. We could not be more pleased with its performance. We hardly had to re-vacuum the rubber seals.

One tip, slightly wetting the rubber surfaces of the attachments prior to fitting (as shown in the video) is advised as it greatly enhances suction.

I used it last weekend for about 900 km, 300 of which were in the rain…

My mother bought her revo-rack for my Alpine so I can transport her disabled stroller when we go into town. It works as well as you can see from the photos.

I used the stock front bolster attachment and rear extensions on the edge of the decklid as the area slopes heavily towards the rear window. Driving into town today we used bungi straps to securely attach the stroller to the luggage rack.

Works really well and the road trips are great – every day in the late 30s!

The Revo Rack arrived on time and we rode it across Italy and France for 3 weeks – a total of over 4,500 km. It was super quick to set up and take down – it always held up. Just a super good part.

I received my order and I am very happy with the boot-bag. Looks and feels good, fits well on the trunk of our family car.

We’re going on holiday to North Wales next week to give the bag a proper test.

Thanks to your exceptional 50L product. I was able to organize a trip of several days.

The material is sturdy, waterproof and well made with attention to detail and is firmly attached to the trunk lid.

The revo-rack passed our endurance test very well. With a Mazda MX-5 (ND.: 2017) from Lake Constance through Switzerland in pouring rain on the motorway, then snow and frost on the Grand St. Bernard Pass and strong gusts of wind in the Aosta Valley to Turin at almost 20° C had a lot of variety in one day. The suction cups did not have to be tightened.

However, we had strapped the rack to the trunk lid with the black drawstrings supplied to be on the safe side. The further tour via Imperia and Menton to Nice and St. Tropez with the return journey via Lyon and Geneva worked great. We never had to tighten the entire route, there was always maximum air for one or two pumping movements, the red ring was never even remotely visible.

Completely satisfied!

A perfect system even in heavy rain we had no problems

I tested my new Revo rack on a golf weekend. 250 km return trip quickly assembled the luggage rack stays in place, no hassle.

I love this rack, it’s reminiscent of the style of the old bolt-on racks but with a modern, scratch-free attachment. I drove 1000 miles with the rack in the rear trunk where it fits without suction cups, picked my son up, installed the rack and loaded excess luggage there and then drove the 1000 miles back. We rode hard through canyons and back roads, luggage always safe.

You probably don’t remember me because I bought your luggage rack (and the ski/snowboard rack that came with it) almost two years ago. I didn’t adjust them at the time as ski resorts were closed just days after receiving them due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

They’re open again this year so I finally put your racks on the Boxster and they’re really really good! I already have a five star rating on the Trustpilot site but I would like to personally thank you for being so helpful over the phone back when I asked you for advice before my purchase (2 years ago) to give how I can set up the ski / snowboard rack perpendicular to the car axis. If you remember I even sent you sketches/drawings showing what I wanted to do. As you can see from the attached photos, I made it! And it works perfectly! Under the snowboard are the ski buttons (although not clearly visible). I also think it looks very nice aesthetically too! I’m so happy!

Attached is a photo of it with golf clubs on the aluminum trunk of a 2004 MX5 SE, sold as the Miata Mazdaspeed in the US and under other names worldwide.

The roof can be opened and closed without getting dirty. The luggage rack also fits in the trunk for storage, which is handy!

I recently did a 800 mile road/camping trip with a ND-Miata group through Death Valley. The Revo-Rack was fantastic in expanding the amount of storage space available to me and allowed for us to bring way more creature comforts camping than we would have been able to otherwise. I was nervous at first keeping up with the other ND-Miata drivers who did not have racks installed as they went 80+mph and took the turns as you do in a sports car. However, my worry was unwarranted as the rack didn’t budge and everything stayed tight as I threw my car into increasingly faster and more challenging roads.

Lastly, when I was done with the rack, it came off with ease, didn’t leave any marks and packed up easily in it’s case. It now sits ready to go for the next time adventure calls and all you own is a two-seater convertible.

I picked it up today and it is even better than I dared to hope for… I paired it with a Yakima Rhino Rack ski rack which fits nicely with your Revo-Rack. The Rhino Rack can go longways or latitudinally so it’s a perfect pairing…

I had people asking where I got the rack from, so hopefully you get some more orders. It worked great even in sub-zero temps (I had been a little concerned if it would work in the cold).

The only that I made to evolved it is that I made a really thin wooden floor.

The luggage rack arrived safely and has already been tested, fits perfectly.

I am fortunate enough to own a Honda S660 which I imported from Japan. It is a lovely little two seater mid-engined sports car which is a great pleasure to drive. Unfortunately it has absolutely no luggage space at all! The rear is obviously filled with the engine and the front bonnet contains the radiator, pumps and various pieces of ancillary equipment. There is a holder for the soft top in the front bonnet but once the top is removed and stowed there is absolutely zero luggage space other than the passenger seat. I was keen to take the car for some weekend trips away with my wife and couldn’t find any solutions until I found your Revo-Rack.

The usual 3 suction cup placement was precluded by the deep channel on the car’s rear engine cover but you helpfully supplied a fourth suction cup and I was easily able to mount the suction cups so that they fit the engine cover perfectly. (For the information of other S660 owners two suction cups should be mounted on the top strut approximately 6 inches inboard from the sides of the rack – basically in line with the rear suction cups)

I have just returned from a 5 day 1500 km trip along the New South Wales coast where the rack performed flawlessly. We had a large 20kg kitbag on it and it didn’t budge at all. We removed and refitted the rack daily with a little water but even though some of the roads we were on were rough the suction cups did not require pumping during the day at all.

I congratulate you on a marvellous invention and I recommend the Revo-Rack to all of the Honda S660 owners out there.

We have installed the rack on our BMW Z3 and had a trip to Cornwall with our luggage on the back. It looks great and we experienced no problems on our journey.

I absolutely love the bike rack.

The Revo-Rack worked fantastically on my recent boating holiday.

I just finished a 4600 mile/ 7400 km road trip. loved the bag!!! It held my camping gear no problem. the bag never moved an inch even at speeds of 95 mph/ 152 kph. it was rock solid. I ran into very little rain, and my gear didn’t allow me to fold the top of the bag down over the zipper with the velcro flap, but I wasn’t worried. Most of my gear was in their water resistant bags. maybe if I practiced beforehand a better way to load it.

Had a few people ask me about it and I told them for the extra space it gives you its absolutely worth getting. I also got the accessory 3rd brake light since the bag blocks the high center mount light on my model miata.

Again a perfect piece of kit that worked flawlessly

I didn’t expect delivery this quickly

We are currently testing our new Revo-Rack on our trip to Italy. So far it works just great. We drove the first 1500km without having any problems or feeling unsafe. The rack stays in place perfectly

We used our boot-bag not on the trunk directly, but on our luggage rack. We chose it because it’s waterproof, because it has hooks and straps provided and because we find it pretty with its little Roadster logo.

It did the job perfectly without letting a drop of water in the times he had to endure showers at 130kph+ on the highway.

The Revo-Rack. What a great piece of kit and I am so glad I made the purchase (despite initial worries).

It was so easy to fit, remove and store when not in use (fits perfectly in the boot of the F Type if it’s not too full). It completed the 800 mile round trip on Autoroutes at cruising speed (130kph) and country roads without a problem. Despite checking the suction cups at regular intervals it never actually needed topping up.

Finally, because we had the Revo-Rack, we were able to fill the somewhat limited space in the boot and various cubby holes with wine and other French goodies.

Would highly recommend.

I bought lately a Revo Rack for my girlfriends Mazda MX-5, very satisfied.

The rack was well received and I was able to install it on my Alfa Romeo Spider with ease. Since the trunk lid on the Alfa is very flat, the suction cups have an excellent hold. You could hang a horse on it.

I am happy to enclose a photo. To further secure it, I attach a band to the middle upper suction cup, which goes through the gap in the trunk lid. If the suction cups should fail while driving, the rack cannot fall down.

A good product and it looks very good too!

A smidge bitter/sweet as it was the first opportunity I’ve had to use the boot bag dad sourced for our trip to Everest Base Camp all 75 litres of it! We don’t mess about handmade by @the_bootbag_group it came with a little certificate to say it was checked, inspected and adventure ready and that it was! I shoved all the necessaries inside it and delegated the responsibility of attaching it to the luggage rack to @jimwilts1981 (tehe) It wasn’t too much of a tricky task, I observed, as it comes with all the necessary straps to secure it the two bungee cords were there for my piece of mind as this was its maiden outing. To protect FSK’s paintwork and shiny bits there are no studs, hooks or clips and it has a soft base as well as anti-slip webbing Also waterproof. Genuinely good for the job

So… just finished a wee glamping tour of the Scottish highlands, and I gotta say the Boot-bag (50Ltr) was well worth the money, helped with the light bulky items (Sleeping bags, towels, pillows, blankets), so all the camping gear went in the boot, recommended if you need a wee bit of extra space and when you’ve set-up camp the bag folds away and you can drive.

Road Hero wheel fits ok on the Revo-Rack. It is 15kg so well within weight limit. Overhangs at the front. Wheel slides under the hoop at the back of the rack by about an inch. Seems secure with the supplied straps, but I am going to wait til the Cam Buckle Tie Down Straps arrive to give it a road trial.

Just to let you know that I’m really pleased with the Revo Rack. I would have preferred the PA version. But actually, with all the black trim on my car, the black one looks really good.

I would say that this is a must for anyone who owns a coupe/cabriolet, given that the boot space is limited when the roof is inside it. This will now pretty much double my luggage allowance on my long trips to Italy, whenever that is allowed again!

I’m very satisfied with the rack, it did the job perfectly.

I eventually bought one of your boot bags but because the trip I originally bought it for was cancelled it sat unused in my garage for a year before last July I went on a Rally with my cousin and I finally needed it

It performed perfectly and despite having to drive through a couple of mega thunderstorms never leaked. The only suggestion I would make is that the shoulder strap could do with being a bit wider or having a pad to prevent it cutting into your shoulder when the bag is loaded.

It was hard for me to believe, but it really worked more than well – even on the Autobahn….

We drove from Frankfurt to Bologna via Milan and back via Munich – no problems at all. We followed your instructions – had a look at it all once in a while … only one time we had to press two of the “buttons” to refix the rack after around 4h drive…. All good.

Finally tested out the snowboards with the trunk rack today. It worked flawlessly even up to 80 mph and turning hard on the backroads. Snapped every neck that looked our direction.

The rack fits perfect. A very hard test for the rack (and my new case) was my trip by car two weeks ago to the Netherlands, on the way back to Munich completely with heavy rain without a break. I had no problems, the rack doesn’t move at all. Great! (And the case was completely waterproof, great too!).

Perfect extra bag, had it strapped to our MX5 whilst touring Holland. Very surprised how much it holds, easy to fit, takes 10 seconds and folds up when not in use.

Read the instructions first, though,I always wiped down the boot lid before laying on the non slip mat, once fitted it never moved, even over 70++++ mph

Attached is a picture of your (now mine) trunk rack that I just put on my 2008 Saturn Sky Redline today. I received it about a week ago.

I live in Rodeo, CA approximately 30 miles North-East of San Francisco. My Sky only has about 33,000 miles on it. My Fiance’ enjoys riding in the car so we plan to take it out more often on trips so the luggage rack will allow that to happen

As long as those suction cups work like you say they will, I’ll continue to love the new addition. I think it even enhances the looks of the car.

A HUGE 10/10 for this luggage rack … .I have never seen a product as EXCEPTIONAL … Received under 3 days, in an irreproachable state, an unimaginable efficiency (2200 kms on highway and small roads) … really I am impressed …

You invented a product just PERFECT … I have a WESTFIELD and the suction cups just fall perfectly on the boot … I really recommend this product.

I had the first opportunity to use the Boot-bag on the Abarth 124 this weekend in howling gales and pouring rain. Everything in the bag stayed dry and the bag stayed put on the boot lid after a quick stop to check that all the straps were cinched up tight. No signs of damage on the panel edges so all good.

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the luggage rack.

Last week week we drove from the East coast of England to the West coast of Ireland ( 600 miles) . We had sunshine , torrential rain and high winds. We stopped every 1.5-2 hours to change drivers and always checked the revo rack. We had no problems with it whatsoever. It never lost suction and was perfect for us.

Just to let you know – the Revo-Rack is just great.

I’ve just completed three weeks to/from Corsica via Italy – 4300 km.

I bought the Summer 142 a few years ago, never used it, and then FINALLY got around to using it for a holiday to Tahoe from SF. It performed beautifully, and I am really interested in how the engineering of this distributed the weight in such a way that the aluminium boot lid doesn’;t really suffer the effects of weight, or doesn’t seem to have been damaged or warped. Mystifying to me !

But, I had a severe blowout, sidewalls were toast, and couldn’t even use the goop to fix it, in lieu of no spare. I did do a 4000+ road trip on terrible roads with no mishaps, but this one got to me and I am spooked. I can efficiently pack the trunk, and wonder, to cure my anxiety:

Is there any chance you could make a rally style spare tire rack that would work for the F-Type? Not only curing potential blowout issues in remote spots, it would look super cool to boot! =) I understand there might be safety issues and testing, but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Cheers!

Thought I would drop you a line to say how pleased I am with my revo-rack. We travelled 3250 miles with 25kg (we weighed it when we got back) on the rack.

Not one problem

We have a BMW Z3 and did a 16 day road trip of England, Wales and a week in France.

The boot bag lived up to its previous reviews

A couple of points: Don’t fill it too much as the area around the zips have to fold in on themselves to fasten the Velcro

The bag was 100% waterproof and we experienced some torrential rain storms

Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. The 4th cup arrived in time for me to install it and then leave on my California trip. The rack, as expected, fit and behaved perfectly over the last two weeks and the exactly 5858 kms. The warmest temperature it was put through was +40 degrees C (Palm Springs) and the lowest was -5 C (west of Lake Tahoe). The highest elevation was just over 11,000 feet (above Bishop, Ca) and the lowest was -258 feet in Death Valley. I went through blistering sun, torrential rain and even some snow and all the while the Revo Rack hung on perfectly. I experience only one of the four suction cups ‘red-lining’ on occasion but I was assured that 3 more were clinging on.

Just completed install. Took a little loving, but it’s on. I think it looks great.

Planning on a road trip for this week, so we’ll see how it does.

I already received everything a while ago correctly.

The trunk of the NC RC is complicated to install the rack due to the curve that makes near the edge. But I managed to adjust it by following your advice and the rubber wedges that prevent the boot lid from being forced so hard.

I have a Morgan 4/4 with a boot rack and have successfully toured Austria with 2 Boot-bags on the rack.

Originally purchased for my wife’s new 2018 Buick Cascada. We knew we’d need extra space and the product looked like the right solution. Bought it and did a test install and we’re very happy with the look, fit and function. Hadn’t had an actual need though until last weekend when we needed extra room for a weekend ski trip with my Camaro SS and we were like hey, maybe it would work there too? Guess what? Fit like a custom install and performed flawlessly. Got several nods of approval and inquires where we “had it made” when we pulled into the resort!

We just completed our 11,200 km trip across Canada via the TransCanada hi-way, east to west and then back via the USA. We had a bag on the luggage rack which weighed 60lbs with our gear and clothes and stuff. Never a problem the never shifted 1mm and allowed us to bring all our gear on this awesome trip.

We have just completed our second long road trip with the Revo-Rack on the MX5. This time we did 3800km mostly at freeway speeds but also plenty of curvy roads.

The rack held fast in all the wind blasts and lots of lateral forces. Top up or top down there was never a worry with the rack and luggage.

We could not be happier with our purchase.

Took a 240 mile trip and the rack and boot-bag worked really well. Some minor modification on how it straps on might be in order for future releases but overall it worked well and the rack never loosend up on the drive.

Here is a shot from my recent road trip from Wiltshire to the Peak District. My fiancée and I also just went to Salcombe and back with the bag and no problems at all.

We got properly wet and no leaks and the car was showing over 100mph and the bag never moved a millimetre. Struggling to see how it could be improved really maybe a little taller would be good but I could not fit the bigger bag you currently make as it is about 10mm too narrow !

We are trying to see if my lady can get enough of her stuff in it in order that we can do a European trip maybe next spring – bit of a challenge

I used the Revo-Rack for a long sporty drive and I am impressed. I used it to transport my girlfriends wheel chair on my MX-5

500km of highway, rough Belgian Ardennes roads, cobblestones and barely visible speed bumps, and no cup lost its vacuum during the entire trip.

At last I have overcome my religious difficulty (am a devout “LAZY” ), and wish to send you this short email… we meandered around for a month visiting many rural areas of South Australia, Victoria and a little of New South Wales to return home last week with now 10,000kms on the same speedo, all with the boot-bag on RF.

We did stop most every night, and were able just to click 6 buckles and take BB into the motel room. In the morning we had an exacting regimen and were on the way within a few minutes, completely done us …. and not a screech/complaint from the boot-bag　

Overall a terrific holiday, made better by our association with your product. Fantastic !!!!

Huge shoutout to the people across the pond at Revo-Rack.

They didn’t pay me or anything to endorse them, but the rack is honestly the best possible solution for adding storage capacity to the world’s favorite roadster. It left no marks and I am sure it would work well on other vehicles too.

At around $300 the rack seemed expensive at first, but it worked flawlessly and even kept all that camping gear rock steady into triple digit speeds at one point. Plus it’s something that I’ll continue to use in the future

Here are some pictures of my 2018 MX-5 (less than 500 miles) and the Revo-Rack. I added some pipe insulation so nothing would get scratched. my 76 year old room mate uses a walker for stability and they don’t fit well in a Miata. The Revo Rack is the perfect answer.

I bought a boot-bag this summer for the holiday trips with my Mazda MX5. I really have become a great fan of your product. Very easy to install and when not in use easy to store in the car. You just have to make sure that the boot is clean before putting the mat on and think a bit how you pack the bag (no objects in the bottom of the bag that can be pressed into the boot)

In my case I packed camping gear for two people into the boot-bag. I did try to operate the roof with the bag on but as it is so quick to install I just took it off when I wanted to close the roof. Also hardly any wind noise when fitted when the straps are properly tied. We had some rain on the way but everything stayed dry inside. I highly recommend the boot-bag for use with an MX5.

I finished assembling the Summer 142 rack and installed it on my MR2. I took it to work this morning for a bit of a road test and the rack is snug and secure. I’m very impressed with the quality both in the design/engineering and in the materials/craftsmanship. I’m very happy with it and will be spreading the word this side of the pond.

As you can see I used extra straps for safety. The rack was doing very well only one time did I have to pump one cup extra.

Many thanks…I purchased the Revo-Rack for a Eurotrip in my Roadster Brabus.

I drove the car from London to Iceland which I have been told no one had done in this type of car before. The trip was ( England,France,Belgium,Netherlands,Germany,Denmark) Ferry from Denmark to Iceland. The trip took several days but the rack held up beautifully all the way holding 20kg. Its a good product and better than expected though one cup started losing suction before the other two early in the trip it still held and I just pumped it up every time I stopped.

Got some pictures of the boot-bag after a journey to the Nurburgring ! The bag held up amazing all the way back. Great Product we had to improvise the strapping points as the hooks are too thin to slide on the VX220 wheel arches so would only strap down well with the roof off.

The Revo-Rack arrived today as you indicated, before I left for the w/e so it has its first outing. Rack was very quick and easy to assemble and mount. Fitting and tightening the straps was the slowest and fiddliest part of getting going so to elastic straps next time. It all works very well and does what it says on the tin.

Today was our first run from Canberra to our unit on the South Coast of NSW; a 2 hour run. We usually take our C Class Mercedes down as it has a large boot. With the Boot-bag on the MX5 Roadster we were able to take all we could take in the Mercedes, the Boot-bag was only half full. It’s easy to fit and remove a great idea of yours.

Thought you would like to see ours. Several multi day trips in heavy weather but the clothes stayed dry.

Excellent product.

Revo-Rack tested on one trip I now have more space.

hi Liza now we have discovered the mystery of the disappearing straps we are ready to travel with our extra storage space. The bag is excellent and placed on the rear of the carrier I am able to access the fuel cap without the need to remove it.

Bought the the boot-bag vacation 2 years ago and have been camping in France both years with the bag on the back of the Mazda MX5 convertible. Needless to say the bag is superb, having survived torrential rain on a few occasions and keeping everything dry – sleeping bags, sheets, clothes etc. Probably covered 1500 km with it BTW – with no issues at all.

We phoned in an order on Monday and it was delivered on Wednesday and we were off on holiday ( with clothes ) on Thursday !!

I’ve just completed a road trip driving a ’73 TR6 from Connecticut to the Carolinas to California and back…71 days and 10,200 miles. I was solo part of the way but family members and friends joined in at different points along the way. My new boot-bag was absolutely invaluable…sturdy, expandable, weatherproof and easy to pop on and off. You’ve got a great product.

hi just back from a run around Europe using the boot-bag. Thought I would drop you a quick email to let you know that it’s a great piece of kit, through high temperatures, torrential rain and even snow atop the Furka pass in Switzerland it kept everything dry and secure.

hi I just wanted to let you know the boot-bag has been brilliant. I drove from Sussex to Bologna (1500KM) on 24/25 June and had zero problems. On the evening of the first day lost in Switzerland ( because the hotel had no address to enter into the Sat Nav ) a thunderstorm started. I have a hard top roof which is removable, and the rain was coming down with a force that worked its way through the roof in places. I thought there maybe a little dampness in the bag around the zip etc, but when I checked everything was as dry as a bone. Perfeckto
